Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to identify good management education processes and practices in formal post graduate management education of managers in Chinese businesses and enterprises. Guided by the personal motivation of continuous improvement and the search for better practices, we review relevant literature, build on the reflections of local colleagues engaged in management education and development programs with middle and senior managers in China and identify some successful practices. This study is in the early stages of development and we present our preliminary findings, some recommendations based on current levels of knowledge and our future research program.

Citation countsare sourced monthly from Scopus and Web of Science® citation databases.

These databases contain citations from different subsets of available publications and different time periods and thus the citation count from each is usually different. Some works are not in either database and no count is displayed. Scopus includes citations from articles published in 1996 onwards, and Web of Science® generally from 1980 onwards.

Citations counts from the Google Scholar™ indexing service can be viewed at the linked Google Scholar™ search.
