This work focuses on domestic and family violence and was specifically written for the Reclaim the Night Rally in Rockhampton on the 27th October 2000. Reclaim the Night is an event that is held to highlight and advocate against domestic and family violence and for safety at night (hence Reclaim the Night). The work was performed by Bronwyn Fredericks on the River Stage, Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia. Ethel Speedy, Pamela Croft and Sarah Jard accompanied the performace with the use of clapsticks.
