Book Review of Legal Pluralism and the Colonial Legacy; Perceptions of Justice; Popular Justice and Community Regeneration by Kayleen Hazlehurst (Ed), Praeger Press, 1995

Fredericks, Bronwyn (1996) Book Review of Legal Pluralism and the Colonial Legacy; Perceptions of Justice; Popular Justice and Community Regeneration by Kayleen Hazlehurst (Ed), Praeger Press, 1995. Aboriginal Law Bulletin, 3(80), p. 30.

Abstract

This is a book review of an edited collection of papers by both Indigenous and on-Indigenous people. The review argues that the collection presents an array of historical processes, legal systems, injustices, corrective measures, and inspiring strategies and programs, for Indigenous and non-Indigenous people in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the rest of the world. Furthermore, that the writers contained within this volume explore and address issues of healing, regeneration and empowerment.

Citation countsare sourced monthly from Scopus and Web of Science® citation databases.

These databases contain citations from different subsets of available publications and different time periods and thus the citation count from each is usually different. Some works are not in either database and no count is displayed. Scopus includes citations from articles published in 1996 onwards, and Web of Science® generally from 1980 onwards.

Citations counts from the Google Scholar™ indexing service can be viewed at the linked Google Scholar™ search.
