Investigating Data Management Practices in Australian Universities
Henty, Margaret, Weaver, Belinda, Bradbury, Stephanie J., & Porter, Simon (2008) Investigating Data Management Practices in Australian Universities. APSR.
Abstract
This survey was one of the activities of the APSR ORCA Support Network in 2007.
Documentation of the survey and completion of the report have taken place during the
first half of 2008, with the support of APSR, the ANDS Establishment Project, The
University of Queensland, The University of Melbourne and the Queensland University
of Technology.
The Australian Partnership for Sustainable Repositories (APSR), was established in 2003
as a broad coalition of institutions promoting excellence in digital research collections
for the higher education sector. APSR was supported by the Systemic Infrastructure
Initiative as part of the Commonwealth Government's Backing Australia's Ability - An
Innovative Action Plan for the Future.
The ANDS Establishment Project has been funded by the Department of Innovation,
Industry, Science and Research (DIISR) through the National Collaborative Research
Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS).

Citation countsare sourced monthly from Scopus and Web of Science citation databases.
These databases contain citations from different subsets of available publications and different time periods and thus the citation count from each is usually different. Some works are not in either database and no count is displayed. Scopus includes citations from articles published in 1996 onwards, and Web of Science generally from 1980 onwards.
Citations counts from the Google Scholar™ indexing service can be viewed at the linked Google Scholar™ search.
Full-text downloads:
Full-text downloadsdisplays the total number of times this work’s files (e.g., a PDF) have been downloaded from QUT ePrints as well as the number of downloads in the previous 365 days. The count includes downloads for all files if a work has more than one.
