A robust control methodology for decentralized design of proportional-integral (PI) based load-frequency control (LFC) with communication delays is given in Ref. (1). In the proposed method, the LFC problem is reduced to a static output feedback (SOF) control synthesis for a multiple delays power system, and then the control parameters are obtained using robust H∞ control technique. However, above paper uses a very simple and linearized model to show the ability of the mentioned control strategy during simulation. Present short paper reports a real time nonlinear simulation, which performed on the Analog Power System Simulator at the Research Laboratory of the Kyushu Electric Power Co., to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed control method and to prove the given claims in Ref. (1).
