This book will be of interest to officials and referees involved in stationary throwing events. It will be essential for evidence-based officiating and is conceived as an educational tool.
The data was collected during the 2006 IPC Athletics World Championships held in Assen, The Netherlands. Results are provided for all female and male athletes who participated in stationary shotput, discus and javelin events. The information focuses on final results, and on individual and overall statistics of rule compliance. This report includes a wealth of information about 103 throwers (77 males, 26 females) competing in 56 events (18 shotput, 20 discus, 18 javelin) amalgamated into more than 600 video files and a 160-page document (200 tables).

Citation counts are sourced monthly from Scopus and Web of Science® citation databases.

These databases contain citations from different subsets of available publications and different time periods and thus the citation count from each is usually different. Some works are not in either database and no count is displayed. Scopus includes citations from articles published in 1996 onwards, and Web of Science® generally from 1980 onwards.

Citations counts from the Google Scholar™ indexing service can be viewed at the linked Google Scholar™ search.

Full-text downloads displays the total number of times this work’s files (e.g., a PDF) have been downloaded from QUT ePrints as well as the number of downloads in the previous 365 days. The count includes downloads for all files if a work has more than one.
