This chapter introduces the Emerging Futures research project. It discusses the framework and process of integrating international research into interdisciplinary teaching at postgraduate and undergraduate levels. Urban Design here is the key to understanding rapidly developing cities and the mechanism by which we may learn to work effectively in these environments to create eco-positive outcomes.
