Abstract

Texture based techniques for visualisation of unsteady vector fields have been applied for the visualisation of a Finite volume model for variably saturated groundwater flow through porous media. This model has been developed by staff in the School of Mathematical Sciences QUT for the study of salt water intrusion into coastal aquifers.

This presentation discusses the implementation and effectiveness of the IBFV algorithm in the context of visualisation of the groundwater simulation outputs.

Impact and interest:

Citation countsare sourced monthly from Scopus and Web of Science® citation databases.

These databases contain citations from different subsets of available publications and different time periods and thus the citation count from each is usually different. Some works are not in either database and no count is displayed. Scopus includes citations from articles published in 1996 onwards, and Web of Science® generally from 1980 onwards.
