Abstract

This paper is about the development of an online audio streaming facility or ‘Internet radio’ site –EMIT- that was established to provide the first step in the development of an online streaming studio within the Creative Industries Faculty at Queensland University of Technology (qut.com). The streaming studio has been developed to provide a highly interactive physical and virtual space for the development of and research into online content, content forms and delivery platforms. EMIT (emit.qut.com) is an experiment in audio streaming that explores the interface between technology and creativity

Citation counts are sourced monthly from Scopus and Web of Science® citation databases.

These databases contain citations from different subsets of available publications and different time periods and thus the citation count from each is usually different. Some works are not in either database and no count is displayed. Scopus includes citations from articles published in 1996 onwards, and Web of Science® generally from 1980 onwards.

Citations counts from the Google Scholar™ indexing service can be viewed at the linked Google Scholar™ search.
