Abstract

The program provided an excellent opportunity to participate in a train-the-trainer workshop offered by Trimble Navigation, facilitated by their in-house instructional designer from Ohio State, United States. The program provided useful knowledge and links to adult learning styles and presentation methods for technology based training. Digital videotaping was employed of initial and improved final presentation incorporating the Trimble Model of Mastery Learning strategies. Each participant provided a software- based quantitative evaluation and post-presentation de-briefing. Exposure was also obtained of Trimble’s' forward technology development philosophies. Additionally, some exposure of their latest product developments, specifically laser scanning, machine guidance "sand-pit" experiments and wireless GPS configurations.

Impact and interest:

These databases contain citations from different subsets of available publications and different time periods and thus the citation count from each is usually different. Some works are not in either database and no count is displayed. Scopus includes citations from articles published in 1996 onwards, and Web of Science® generally from 1980 onwards.
