Editorial Comment: February 2000 TQS
Webb, Robert M. (2000) Editorial Comment: February 2000 TQS. The Queensland Surveyor Journal, 2000(1), p. 5.
Welcome to the first edition of The Queensland Surveyor for the year 2000. I would assume most people have now almost recovered from the monumental celebrations that marked in the New Year. With the Olympic games being hosted in Australia later this year, we have chosen a gold coloured spine for all the 2000 editions. As this year progresses, I would strongly encourage you to GET and BE more involved in Surveying & Mapping activities and opportunities. This is especially important as the new MGA94 Geocentric Datum is adopted and the spatial information industry is continuing its growth at a phenomenal rate.
Impact and interest:
Citation counts are sourced monthly from and citation databases.
These databases contain citations from different subsets of available publications and different time periods and thus the citation count from each is usually different. Some works are not in either database and no count is displayed. Scopus includes citations from articles published in 1996 onwards, and Web of Science® generally from 1980 onwards.
Citations counts from theindexing service can be viewed at the linked Google Scholar™ search.
Full-text downloads displays the total number of times this work’s files (e.g., a PDF) have been downloaded from QUT ePrints as well as the number of downloads in the previous 365 days. The count includes downloads for all files if a work has more than one.
