Developing a Geographic Information System for Resource Mapping and Farm Boundary Re-Arrangement in a Rural Darling Downs Catchment

Webb, Robert M. (1994) Developing a Geographic Information System for Resource Mapping and Farm Boundary Re-Arrangement in a Rural Darling Downs Catchment. In Hannigan, Brian J. (Ed.) Proceedings of seminar: Farm Reconstruction and Rearrangement of Farm Boundaries, 12 December 1994, Pittsworth, Darling Downs, Queensland.

Abstract

Research Focus on the physical land and water resources in the Linthorpe Catchment and their impacts in that area. Study of the relationship of property boundaries to the land types in the catchement study area. Design, data gathering, field data collection for developing a geographic information system(GIS) in the catchment. GIS query and sample outputs in the form of mapping, text reports and graphers are presented. How QUT has been applying Global Positioning Technology (GPS) to collection data layers in Linthorpe.

Citation countsare sourced monthly from Scopus and Web of Science® citation databases.

These databases contain citations from different subsets of available publications and different time periods and thus the citation count from each is usually different. Some works are not in either database and no count is displayed. Scopus includes citations from articles published in 1996 onwards, and Web of Science® generally from 1980 onwards.

Citations counts from the Google Scholar™ indexing service can be viewed at the linked Google Scholar™ search.

Full-text downloadsdisplays the total number of times this work’s files (e.g., a PDF) have been downloaded from QUT ePrints as well as the number of downloads in the previous 365 days. The count includes downloads for all files if a work has more than one.
