Danny the Frightened Dinosaur
Campbell, Marilyn A. (2006) Danny the Frightened Dinosaur. Post Pressed, Flaxton, Qld..
What is specific or physical phobias?
The story in this book is based on anxiety disorders that are called simple or specific phobias.
These unrealistic fears often involve worry about negative physical outcomes.
Although many children are afraid of the dark when young, some children develop excessive fear of specific objects or situations such as dogs, water, heights, thunderstorms or the dark, beyond what is age appropriate.
They do everything they can to avoid the object or the situation and become very distressed if they cannot avoid it.

Citation counts are sourced monthly from and citation databases.
These databases contain citations from different subsets of available publications and different time periods and thus the citation count from each is usually different. Some works are not in either database and no count is displayed. Scopus includes citations from articles published in 1996 onwards, and Web of Science® generally from 1980 onwards.
Citations counts from theindexing service can be viewed at the linked Google Scholar™ search.
