Dig the Fearful Pig
Campbell, Marilyn A. (2006) Dig the Fearful Pig. Post Pressed, Flaxton, Qld..
What is obsessive-compulsive disorder?
The story in this book is based on an anxiety disorder called obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Many children will play games about not stepping on cracks and appreciate routines and orderliness.
However, some children have recurrent and distressing thoughts such as fear of contamination which leads to repetitive and irrational behaviours such as washing and cleaning rituals or counting or straightening rituals.
If prevented from carrying out these rituals or compulsions they become very anxious and distressed.

Citation countsare sourced monthly fromand citation databases.
These databases contain citations from different subsets of available publications and different time periods and thus the citation count from each is usually different. Some works are not in either database and no count is displayed. Scopus includes citations from articles published in 1996 onwards, and Web of Science® generally from 1980 onwards.
Citations counts from theindexing service can be viewed at the linked Google Scholar™ search.
