Abstract
The book comprises two parts. Part One addresses the operational environment of contemporary policing. It includes articles by Philip Birch, Victoria Herrington, Tracey Green, Patrick Walsh, Greg Linsdell and Tyrone Kirchengast on such topics as victims and the police, communication skills for policing, policing emergencies, 15 and intelligence and national security issues in policing.
