Information Modeling For Whole-Life-Cycle Product Based On Step-Ap Development Method
Yarlagadda, Prasad K., Zhou, Shouqin, & Chin, Kwai-Sang (2003) Information Modeling For Whole-Life-Cycle Product Based On Step-Ap Development Method. In International conference on Integrated Design and Process Technologies, September 2003, USA.
The enhancing competition of marketing requires product designers collaboratively develop outputs with high quality in a short lead-time. Concerning whole-lifecycle product development, from analysis of customer requirements, concept design, detail design, to product performance evaluation, the development of a successful product is achieved through cooperation of various design teams in different design stages. In this situation, a wholelife-cycle product information model is necessary for production engineers to develop products efficiently. In this paper, based on STEP-AP (Application Protocol) development method, a scheme of neutral information modeling for whole-life-cycle product is proposed. An application case is stated in detail. The general rules of product information modeling are summarized. The studies provides feasible scheme for product information exchange and sharing within collaborative product development and concurrent engineering environment.
Citation countsare sourced monthly fromand citation databases.
These databases contain citations from different subsets of available publications and different time periods and thus the citation count from each is usually different. Some works are not in either database and no count is displayed. Scopus includes citations from articles published in 1996 onwards, and Web of Science generally from 1980 onwards.
Citations counts from theindexing service can be viewed at the linked Google Scholar™ search.
