Abstract
This is a study of legal research activity in solicitors' firms in Brisbane city and its suburbs in 1992. The study consisted of a survey questionnaire with 857 completed responses representing 37.5%. The study reviews pertinent literature on legal research and then makes some important findings about research training for lawyers.
