Abstract
This technical report is for the purpose of providing a background to Pittsworth Shire Council about Geographic Information and Digital Mapping activities conducted by Surveying Discipline, School of Planning, Landscape Architecture and Surveying, QUT during the timeframe March 1993 to December 1994. A pilot study was selected (Linthorpe Valley) and over it a computer based land information system assembled. This consisted of utilizing a "Mapinfo" and "AutoCAD" digital mapping and analysis environment.
