Abstract
This evaluation was undertaken to provide an independent perspective on: the effectiveness of this process the validity of the Rich Task Team interpretations of the effectiveness of the process the implications for building teacher capacity in the implementation of the Queensland Curriculum Assessment and Reporting (QCAR) framework. This evaluation supports the continuation of Local Consensus Events as a means of validating standards in Rich Task grades. This evaluation has identified rich learnings and important procedures, processes and practices that are valued by teachers, principals/deputy principals and curriculum co-ordinators.
