Abstract
This paper describes an innovative approach to teach strategic management to undergraduate students. This new approach was designed to overcome the difficulties stemming from importing contents and materials primarily designed for the MBA market and not adapted to undergraduate cohorts. Based on our experience with executive education and the training and development programs of strategy consultants, we have devised an experiential approach focused on students understanding of and ability to apply the discipline’s fundamental concepts. We present the results of a survey of students expectations and experiences during the strategic management undergraduate capstone that provides support for our approach in terms of student satisfaction and learning.
