Abstract
The focus of higher education is shifting towards building students' skills and self-awareness for future employment. This means that there is an increasing need for teaching tools which provide a context for skills development and an opportunity for students to prepare for the transition from education to professional practice. This paper considers how QUT E-Portfolio has been integrated into the core undergraduate law unit, Principles of Equity, at the Queensland University of Technology as a means of enabling students to reflect on and document their skill development in that unit.
