Abstract

An Acknowledgement of Country is a way that all people can show respect for Aboriginal culture and heritage and the ongoing relationship the Traditional Custodians have with the Land. It is offered at the beginning of a meeting or function. This is the Acknowledgement of Country that was offered at the opening of the 2003 Queensland ALP State Conference on the evening of the 6th June 2003.
