Sawang, Sukanlaya & Guaralda, Mirko (2019) Well-being restoration in the workspace. In Coles, R, Costa, S, & Watson, S (Eds.) Pathways to well-being in design: Examples from the arts, humanities and the built environment. Routledge, United Kingdom, pp. 171-185.
Description
Modern workplaces often have Open Plan Office Design, clear glass offices or even superdesk -one huge, continuous single desk for all staff- designs in order to stimulate communication and ideas among employees. This chapter explores the positive and negative impacts of open-plan office on employees and proposes some design (a case study of a proof of concept) related remedy for well-being restoration.

Citation counts are sourced monthly from Scopus and Web of Science® citation databases.
These databases contain citations from different subsets of available publications and different time periods and thus the citation count from each is usually different. Some works are not in either database and no count is displayed. Scopus includes citations from articles published in 1996 onwards, and Web of Science® generally from 1980 onwards.
Citations counts from the Google Scholar™ indexing service can be viewed at the linked Google Scholar™ search.
