Design Matrix for Modus Operandi [Modus Operandi della Matrice]
Description
Today, we accept the fact that we are living in a world of multiplicities and possibilities. What would this understanding of the world mean for the designers that shape our future? Can design be seen as a field of possibilities? The modus operandi of Re-coding homes project, tackles this question through the use of a diagrammatic process a ‘design matrix’. The design matrix explores the inherent possibilities of the design solutions in a relational manner. Through comparisons of similarities and differences, it puts forward important issues of the design process. Hence, allowing many possibilities to emerge as outcomes of design.

Citation counts are sourced monthly from Scopus and Web of Science® citation databases.
These databases contain citations from different subsets of available publications and different time periods and thus the citation count from each is usually different. Some works are not in either database and no count is displayed. Scopus includes citations from articles published in 1996 onwards, and Web of Science® generally from 1980 onwards.
Citations counts from the Google Scholar™ indexing service can be viewed at the linked Google Scholar™ search.
