Description

The present chapter has two objectives. The principal empirical aim is to quantify and compare twentieth century farm sector performancein seven Asia-Pacific countries (Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea and the USA) using 1987 as our benchmark. The methodological aim is to explain the main alternative procedures for derivation of valid multilateral comparisons.
