Innovations in web applications using artificial intelligence paradigm
Description
Artificial Intelligence techniques are increasingly being used when devising smart Web applications for efficiently presenting the information on the Web to the user. The motivation for this trend is the growth of the internet and the increasing difficulty for users to navigate the web to find useful information and applications. This chapter shows how artificial intelligence techniques can be utilized to improve the Web and the benefits that can be obtained by integrating the Web and Artificial Intelligence.

Citation counts are sourced monthly from Scopus and Web of Science® citation databases.
These databases contain citations from different subsets of available publications and different time periods and thus the citation count from each is usually different. Some works are not in either database and no count is displayed. Scopus includes citations from articles published in 1996 onwards, and Web of Science® generally from 1980 onwards.
Citations counts from the Google Scholar™ indexing service can be viewed at the linked Google Scholar™ search.
