Description

Narrative conflict in the corporate novel relies on two often opposing subject-positions. On the one hand there is the subjectivity of the corporate agent’s self, such as the discourses of family, friends, and community values and their position within them; while on the other hand there is the subjectivity of the corporation manifested through a discourse of aggressive profit-seeking and embodied in the corporate agent. This practice-led research project aims to portray how a corporate agent may become the principle of their own subjection as personal beliefs come into conflict with the corporate agenda.

Citation counts are sourced monthly from Scopus and Web of Science® citation databases.

These databases contain citations from different subsets of available publications and different time periods and thus the citation count from each is usually different. Some works are not in either database and no count is displayed. Scopus includes citations from articles published in 1996 onwards, and Web of Science® generally from 1980 onwards.

Citations counts from the Google Scholar™ indexing service can be viewed at the linked Google Scholar™ search.
