Description

Free to read on publisher website Type K82 c apsular polysaccharide (CPS) w as isolat ed from Acinetobacter baumannii LUH5534 . The s t ructure of a linear tetra saccharide repeating un it of the CPS w as established by sugar analysi s along with one - and two - dimensional 1 H and 13 C NMR spectroscopy . Proteins encoded by the KL82 capsule gene cluster in the genome of LUH5534 were assigned to roles in the synthesis of the K82 CPS . In particular, functions were assigned to two new glycosylt ransferases (Gtr152 and Gtr153) and a novel pyru vyltransferase, Ptr5, responsible for the synthesis of D - galactose 4,6 - ( R ) - pyruvic acid acetal ( D - Gal 4,6 R Pyr) .

Search Google Scholar™

Citation counts are sourced monthly from Scopus and Web of Science® citation databases.

These databases contain citations from different subsets of available publications and different time periods and thus the citation count from each is usually different. Some works are not in either database and no count is displayed. Scopus includes citations from articles published in 1996 onwards, and Web of Science® generally from 1980 onwards.

Citations counts from the Google Scholar™ indexing service can be viewed at the linked Google Scholar™ search.

Full-text downloads:

74 since deposited on 06 Nov 2021
16 in the past twelve months

Full-text downloads displays the total number of times this work’s files (e.g., a PDF) have been downloaded from QUT ePrints as well as the number of downloads in the previous 365 days. The count includes downloads for all files if a work has more than one.
