Description
This thesis examines how legal professional services firms that manage multiple business models as a portfolio can achieve strategic IT/IS alignment. It identifies three emerging, interdependent business models in law firms; explores how managing a business model portfolio with synergies and tensions can create value opportunities; and extends the IT/IS alignment discussion to organizations operating such portfolios.
Impact and interest:
