Yet little is known about nurse-physician relationships when rescuing at-risk patients. This study compared nursing and medical staff perceptions of a mature RRS at a large tertiary hospital. Findings indicate the RRS may be failing to address a hierarchical culture and systems-level barriers to early recognition and response to patient deterioration. publisher: Wolters Kluwer Health, Inc date: 2016-05-09 type: Journal Article format: application/pdf relation: https://eprints.qut.edu.au/84054/1/Accepted_version_JNCQ-D-15-00026R1.pdf relation: DOI:10.1097/NCQ.0000000000000139 relation: Douglas, Clint, Osborne, Sonya, Windsor, Carol A., Fox, Robyn, Booker, Catriona, Jones, Lee, & Gardner, Glenn E.
