Description

This report is the final report for the YuMi Deadly Maths Western Metropolitan Region Schools Project. It builds on from the 2012 August Interim Report and the 2013January Interim Report (see YuMi Deadly Centre, 2012, 2013). It should be read as a follow-on from those reports. This report focuses specifically on (1) project overview, (2)workshop participation and activities,(3)the Western Metropolitan Region Sharing Summit, (4) Teachers as researchers: Measure of impact,and (5) Implications.The overarching aim of the present project was to increase the capacity and professional collaboration of teachers to teach mathematics in ways that engage students actively in the learning process thus enhancing learning outcomes.
